Senior iOS Application Engineer, .NET MAUI & C#
Overview
You will design, develop, and ship enterprise iOS applications for field operations, touching .NET MAUI and C# across a 12-month engagement in New York. You will join a cross-functional team spanning Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Cybersecurity, delivering secure, offline-first solutions. This role demands deep .NET MAUI expertise, with daily work on Bluetooth/BLE integrations, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Azure services. You will independently own complex enhancements from design through production support, including CI/CD and MDM integration.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and enhance iOS applications using .NET MAUI and C#, covering secure, high-performance mobile functionality.
- 2Design offline-first capabilities with SQLite, local caching, background sync, retry logic, and conflict resolution.
- 3Integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs, .NET backends, Azure services, and relational databases.
- 4Implement Bluetooth/BLE integrations, including Zebra ZQ-series printers, connection recovery, and error handling.
- 5Add camera, photo capture, barcode scanning, and OCR workflows using .NET MAUI and native iOS APIs.
- 6Implement secure authentication with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, Keychain, encryption, and certificate pinning.
- 7Ship field-friendly interfaces optimized for rapid operational workflows, ensuring accessibility.
- 8Run unit, integration, regression, UI, and performance tests, and debug production issues.
- 9Support CI/CD with Jenkins/Bitrise, provisioning, code signing, and App Store Connect releases.
- 10Maintain technical documentation for deployments and operational support.
Requirements10
- 15+ years developing enterprise mobile apps with .NET MAUI and C# for iOS.
- 2Deep XAML and MVVM experience, including .NET MAUI Community Toolkit, Essentials, and dependency injection.
- 3Built offline-first mobile apps using SQLite, caching, sync, retry, and conflict resolution.
- 4Hands-on Bluetooth/BLE integration, specifically with Zebra mobile printers and Zebra SDK.
- 5Integrated mobile apps with REST/GraphQL APIs, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Azure, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.
- 6Used native iOS frameworks and platform APIs within .NET MAUI.
- 7Implemented enterprise security including OAuth, OIDC, JWT, Keychain, encryption, and certificate pinning.
- 8Managed MDM platforms like Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, or Jamf.
- 9Power user of Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD, Jenkins/Bitrise, automated testing, and signing.
- 10Knowledge of App Store Connect, APNs, telemetry, crash reporting, and monitoring.
