Overview
Azure Edge team seeks Senior Hardware Engineer to lead hardware development for GitHub and Azure Edge products. This role drives next-generation GitHub solutions powered by Azure. You will own hardware development systems deployed in Azure datacenters.
What You'll Do7
- 1Engineering and delivery ownership of hardware development deliverables supporting GitHub/Azure Edge portfolio
- 2Collaborate with internal teams and ODMs to develop requirements and specifications
- 3Maintain engineering ownership and execute hardware development plans with security and quality oversight
- 4Apply experience in hardware design debug test validation firmware integration bill-of-material change control
- 5Drive product failure investigations including RCA and corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams
- 6Work with hardware component suppliers and ODMs to resolve defects and quality issues
- 7Contribute to product lifecycle management from concept through production and support
Requirements8
- 1Master degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years technical experience
- 2Bachelor degree with 5+ years technical experience or equivalent
- 3Microsoft Cloud background check required
- 4U.S. citizenship verification required
- 5Experience with Mac/macOS Linux systems and test environments
- 6Automation and test software programming using PowerShell Python or equivalent
- 7Strong hands-on hardware testing and validation skills
- 8Ability to complete complex technical projects independently or in teams
Salary Insight
$120 - $261k per year
