Overview
You will own the design and development of GenTax solutions for a state tax agency, handling 5+ years of complex system enhancements. You will join a cross-functional team of developers and analysts in Salt Lake City, delivering critical tax processing features. What You'll Do7
- 1Design and build GenTax modules using C# and Visual Studio, translating functional requirements into robust solutions.
- 2Create and update SOAP and RESTful API services to integrate with external systems and streamline data exchange.
- 3Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval, reporting, and system optimization.
- 4Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for maintainable, scalable GenTax development.
- 5Collaborate with business analysts to refine requirements and deliver features that meet compliance standards.
- 6Debug and resolve production issues in GenTax, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- 7Write and maintain technical documentation for all developed solutions.
Requirements6
- 15+ years designing and developing solutions within the GenTax system.
- 25+ years of demonstrated proficiency in SQL and C# using Visual Studio.
- 3Proficiency consuming, updating, and creating API services, including SOAP and RESTful.
- 4Strong experience translating functional requirements into technical designs.
- 5Experience with the full software development lifecycle in an enterprise environment.
- 6Ability to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a reliable schedule.
