iVeia seeks a Senior FPGA Engineer to architect and implement vision processing signal processing and AI products. The role involves leading FPGA-based projects scaling across industrial medical automotive defense and IoT markets. This position offers 80 percent remote flexibility with hybrid on-site presence in Baltimore. The ideal candidate excels in HDL design debugging and delivering high-performance solutions.
What You'll Do12
- 1Architect and code HDL and high-level synthesis applications for FPGA and programmable SoC platforms
- 2Design system-level architectures collaborating with management and customers
- 3Provide technical leadership and act as liaison between engineering and stakeholders
- 4Write specifications design and verification documents for FPGA implementations
- 5Develop methodologies for evaluating FPGA solutions regarding performance power resources and cost
- 6Implement tools frameworks for heterogeneous programming performance monitoring and analysis
- 7Model algorithms and create FPGA-based strategies under resource power and cost constraints
- 8Create FPGA design specifications track progress and manage project schedules
- 9Participate in hardware design integration and board bring-up of new projects
- 10Develop onboarding plans for programmable SoC technologies
- 11Lead code reviews and product planning sessions
- 12Generate C-code for processor-to-FPGA interface development
Requirements11
- 1Expertise in HDL design coding implementation timing closure and debugging
- 2Deep understanding of FPGA design considerations including synchronous asynchronous timing and resource utilization
- 3Proficiency in FPGA and programmable SoC design flows simulation tools and logic debugging utilities
- 4Strong knowledge of DSP techniques high-speed data path processing and SoC optimization for IQ data
- 5Experience with AXI processor interfaces high-speed communication memories and logic block architecture
- 6Familiarity with digital signal processing verification methodologies test benches and signal/image analysis tools
- 7Background in memory mapped I/O and Linux kernel module development
- 8Scripting languages for automation and FPGA validation tasks
- 9Bachelor degree in electrical engineering computer science or related field
- 10Team player with excellent communication skills
- 11US citizen or permanent resident
