Senior Enterprise Data Privacy Analyst
Overview
You will lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Privacy Risk Assessments (PRAs) for a major financial-services institution, covering 10+ years of privacy program experience. You operate within 2LOD oversight, partnering with governance and risk teams to embed privacy into product lifecycles. This multiyear contract offers hybrid work (3 days onsite in Vienna, VA) and direct impact on regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the end-to-end PIA and PRA process for new and changed initiatives, ensuring compliance with financial-services regulations.
- 2Drive 2LOD oversight activities, challenging first-line risk assessments and validating control effectiveness.
- 3Design and implement privacy governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and procedures aligned with GLBA and GDPR.
- 4Coordinate third-party risk assessments, reviewing vendor privacy practices and contractual terms.
- 5Advise product and engineering teams on privacy-by-design, embedding requirements into system development lifecycles.
- 6Facilitate privacy risk reviews with senior stakeholders, documenting decisions and escalations.
- 7Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into actionable privacy program updates.
- 8Develop privacy training and awareness materials for diverse audiences.
Requirements7
- 110+ years of professional privacy program experience, including PIA/PRA execution.
- 25+ years in 2LOD oversight or independent risk management roles.
- 3Deep knowledge of financial-services regulation: GLBA, FCRA, Reg P, and GDPR.
- 4Experience with third-party risk management and vendor privacy assessments.
- 5Proven ability to influence at all levels, with strong analytical and communication skills.
- 6CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT certification preferred.
- 7Bachelor's degree in law, business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
