Overview
We seek a skilled Electronics Assembly Technician to join our production team in Mesa. This role involves precision assembly of electronic circuits and sub-assemblies for high-precision wireless diagnostic instruments used by HVAC engineers worldwide. What You'll Do9
- 1Precision-fit route and secure flexible tubing between PCB-mounted pressure sensors and external housing ports ensuring leak-free connections and proper bend radii
- 2Perform manual soldering through-hole and surface mount for board modifications wire attachments connectors and component additions
- 3Integrate populated PCBs into custom enclosures routing internal wiring harnesses mounting hardware and installing user interface components
- 4Strip crimp solder and bundle wire harnesses ribbon cables and multi-pin connectors according to pinout diagrams
- 5Apply technical adhesives silicones threadlockers and conformal coatings to secure components and seal joints
- 6Conduct visual inspections verifying solder joint quality tubing retention polarity and component orientation before downstream testing
- 7Follow written assembly instructions maintain ESD safety practices log completed build quantities and keep work benches organized
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and meet production targets
- 9Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the assembly cycle
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading complex assembly projects
- 32+ years experience in electronics assembly small-component electro-mechanical assembly or PCB rework
- 4Technical Aptitude: Experience with fine-scale mechanical assembly including handling small-diameter tubing press-fit fittings and delicate sensor interfaces
- 5Soldering Proficiency: Strong hand-soldering skills for through-hole and SMD components
- 6Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret wiring schematics assembly drawings bill of materials and step-by-step SOPs
- 7Tool Competency: Skilled with wire strippers crimpers torque drivers adhesive dispensers and hand tools
- 8Dexterity & Precision: Excellent steady-hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination for precise routing fitting and component placement
- 9ESD & Safety Protocols: Strong understanding of ESD control procedures and chemical safety protocols
