Overview
Lead electrical design and construction for water and wastewater infrastructure across Texas. Own full project lifecycle from planning to commissioning. Collaborate with municipal and public sector clients on large-scale projects. Drive technical excellence and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop electrical designs and construction documents for water wastewater municipal industrial projects
- 2Design electrical power and control systems for treatment plants pump stations lift stations
- 3Support low and medium voltage power distribution emergency power generation controls instrumentation
- 4Produce and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- 5Coordinate electrical designs with civil mechanical controls and other disciplines
- 6Interface directly with municipal clients project managers contractors utilities and stakeholders
- 7Perform technical reviews to ensure code compliance and client requirements
- 8Assist with project management scheduling and construction phase support
- 9Provide technical leadership mentorship to junior engineers and designers
- 10Take ownership of projects within a small consulting team
- 11Manage multiple responsibilities and projects in a collaborative environment
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 26+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
- 3Professional Engineer license strongly preferred
- 4Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- 5Strong understanding of electrical power distribution and control systems
- 6Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a smaller consulting environment
- 7Excellent communication skills for direct client interaction
- 8Experience with municipalities utilities or public infrastructure clients
- 9Nice to have experience with water wastewater treatment facilities lift stations pump stations municipal infrastructure SCADA industrial control systems motor control centers emergency generators automatic transfer systems instrumentation utility coordination industrial electrical systems data center projects
