Overview
Lead the Patient Services function for the RERT Business Unit driving strategy and execution across four indications. Oversee field-based teams and manage third-party vendor relationships. Partner with cross-functional leaders to align service delivery with business goals.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop and evolve US PS best-in-class strategy for the RERT business unit
- 2Design Patient Services model for new launches and optimize existing ones using AI technology
- 3Manage third-party vendor relationships to achieve KPIs and ensure compliance
- 4Collaborate with Marketing Market Access Patient Advocacy Legal Compliance Quality Drug Safety Commercial Operations IT Training to meet patient needs
- 5Recommend program design innovations and lead implementation plans with financial rationale
- 6Drive cross-functional optimization of Patient Services model for future launches
- 7Conduct innovative research/analytics with commercial insights to understand patient dynamics
- 8Establish processes for collecting and sharing best practices
- 9Lead development of US strategic planning including tactical plans and budget allocation
- 10Partner with Market Access Commercial Operations and IT for effective data flow
- 11Conduct work consistent with Astra Zeneca values while maintaining compliance
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in scientific or business field
- 215+ years related experience in biotechnology industry
- 3Significant commercial experience with patient services leadership preferred
- 4Proven ability to adapt in evolving environments with proactive problem solving
- 5Strong personal accountability and communication skills
- 6Understanding of compliance regulations and copay/payer programs
- 7MBA preferred
- 8Broad experience in patient services field leadership analytics vendor management marketing market research sales or medical affairs
- 9Rare disease high-value biologics experience
- 10Ability to manage people and excel in interpersonal skills
