Senior Director, Product Management GRCx
Overview
You will own the transformation of risk management products at Capital One, modernizing compliance and governance tools used across the enterprise. Your team builds GRCx products that shift risk management from reactive to proactive, using AWS, Python, and modern data pipelines to automate manual processes. You will lead a cross-functional group of product managers, engineers, and designers, reporting to senior leadership. What You'll Do9
- 1Drive the product vision and roadmap for GRCx platforms, aligning with business strategy and regulatory needs.

- 3Collaborate with AWS engineers to design scalable data pipelines using Kafka and Spark for real-time risk analytics.
- 4Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to launch, for tools used by thousands of risk analysts.
- 5Partner with business leaders to identify pain points and prioritize features that enhance risk detection and response.
- 6Facilitate data-driven decisions using Tableau dashboards and SQL queries to track product performance.
- 7Mentor product managers in human-centered design and data-driven experimentation.
- 8Champion agile ceremonies and ensure teams ship MVPs within quarterly cycles.
- 9Communicate product updates to executives and stakeholders through clear narratives and demos.
Requirements8
- 17+ years in product management, with 3+ years leading product teams.
- 2Bachelor's degree in any field; MBA preferred.
- 3Proven track record of delivering consumer-facing digital products at scale.
- 4Experience with risk management or compliance domains (e.g., GRC, AML, Fraud).
- 5Strong technical acumen with AWS, Python, or SQL.
- 6Ability to translate business strategy into product roadmaps and execute.
- 7Experience in agile development environments using Jira and Confluence.
- 8Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salary Insight
$270 - $308k per year
