Overview
Strategic leader accountable for foundation operations ensuring frontline support enables product access and drug delivery for eligible patients. Lead board workstreams and drive nationwide operational alignment across therapeutic areas. Own nationwide execution of new programs embedding board decisions into patient support services. Spearhead process realignments to maximize efficiency while safeguarding independent charitable status. Address complex patient cases and manage high-volume charitable product inventory. Partner with PX Delivery Marketing and Customer Engagement to integrate insights into operational planning.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead and execute strategic GPF Board of Directors workstreams crafting high-impact donor presentations in partnership with Head of GPF
- 2Drive nationwide operational alignment standardizing patient experience across therapeutic areas through product life cycle stages
- 3Own execution of new GPF programs embedding board-approved decisions into patient support services for all Genentech products
- 4Spearhead strategic realignments of processes SOPs and systems maximizing operational efficiency while protecting 501(c)(3) status
- 5Address complex patient cases escalations and exception requests establishing structural changes to resolve systemic issues
- 6Provide end-to-end oversight of high-volume charitable product inventory defining shipping distribution standards aligned with pharmaceutical regulations
- 7Partner with PX Delivery Regional Leads Marketing and Customer Engagement leadership integrating strategic insights into operational planning
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience advanced degree preferred
- 212-15+ years professional experience in healthcare reimbursement pharmaceuticals biotechnology or operations management
- 35+ years direct people management leading teams through change
- 4Proven track record planning prioritizing complex process changes and operational realignments
- 5Strong influencing communication skills utilizing data and technology to improve patient outcomes
- 6Advanced degree preferred Master's MBA relevant PhD or JD
- 7Direct experience working with or supporting 501(c)(3) charitable foundation or patient assistance program in biopharma space
- 8Deep expertise in pharmaceutical supply chain inventory management or drug distribution regulations
