What You'll Do9
- 1Lead cross-functional collaboration to meet key business objectives and resolve team obstacles.
- 2Provide technical direction for architectural decisions ensuring systems are scalable secure and optimized for long-term success across internal and customer-facing platforms.
- 3Drive proactive resolution of high-priority technical issues streamlining escalation and coordination across teams to minimize business impact.
- 4Manage technical risks including ensuring systems have backup failover and disaster recovery plans.
- 5Scale distributed systems and cloud-based platforms using AWS technologies such as S3 SNS SES API Gateway and Kubernetes.
- 6Utilize queue mechanisms like RabbitMQ SQS and Kafka while analyzing and communicating software implementation options according to various IT environments.
- 7Design and execute plans for software platform changes with minimal disruption to clients and ongoing activity.
- 8Integrate and communicate across applications databases and platforms using tools like Datadog Logstash ElasticSearch Docker and Redis.
- 9Implement auto-recovery tools monitor software distribution channels and design plans for software installations.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field with 5 years experience including 5 years experience scaling distributed systems and cloud-based platforms.
- 2Proficiency with programming languages Python Ruby Node PHP and .Net.
- 3Experience with software development lifecycle DevOps security and compliance best practices.
- 4Familiarity with Queues such as RabbitMQ SQS and Kafka.
- 5Ability to analyze assess and communicate software implementation options.
- 6Telecommuting optional within normal commuting distance subject to hybrid work policy.
