Overview
You will design, implement, and mature security controls for Secure Development Lifecycle and cloud security across Comcast's CONNECT organization. You will assess risk across software, cloud, and infrastructure, then translate findings into actionable guidance for engineering teams. With 8+ years experience, you will partner with DevOps to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and AWS services. You will own vulnerability management and foster secure coding practices. What You'll Do8
- 1Design, implement, and mature controls for Secure Development Lifecycle, software security, and cloud security across the CONNECT organization.
- 2Assess cybersecurity risk across software, cloud, infrastructure, and privacy programs; translate findings into actionable remediation guidance.
- 3Provide secure architecture consultation for applications, services, and platforms, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
- 4Perform secure code reviews and application security assessments on Python, Java, and JavaScript codebases.
- 5Develop automation and dashboards using Python and SQL to improve security visibility and vulnerability remediation tracking.
- 6Analyze security telemetry from AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and vulnerability scanners to identify trends and anomalies.
- 7Drive adoption of Kubernetes security best practices, including pod security policies and network policies.
- 8Mentor junior engineers and lead security initiatives that reduce risk across high-scale systems.
Requirements10
- 18+ years in cybersecurity engineering, application security, cloud security, or vulnerability management.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3Hands-on experience with Secure Development Lifecycle, secure code review, and threat modeling.
- 4Proficiency in AWS services: IAM, VPC, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- 5Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
- 6Strong programming skills in Python and SQL for security automation and analytics.
- 7Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, network protocols, and access controls.
- 8Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container security.
- 9Ability to analyze large security data sets and convert insights into risk reduction actions.
- 10Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in complex security environments.
