What You'll Do7
- 1Cook entrees and menu items from established recipes, hitting flavor and nutrition targets.
- 2Lead cooking activities for food service associates, directing daily kitchen flow.
- 3Clean and maintain equipment after each use, following sanitation logs.
- 4Store, label, and date food items per policy, keeping dry and cold storage organized.
- 5Apply HACCP guidelines to guarantee food safety and quality.
- 6Track daily production and complete required reports and logs for the Food Service Director.
- 7Cross-train new cooks on station procedures and recipe execution.
Requirements7
- 15+ years cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
- 2Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- 3Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
- 4Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment.
- 5Valid food handler certification as required by local law.
- 6Physical stamina to stand for shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
- 7Flexibility to work mornings, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, on varying days.
