Senior Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce & Investor Relations
Overview
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of Salesforce enhancements for Bain Capital's Investor Relations Operations team, touching $225 billion in assets under management. You will report to the Business Systems Manager and collaborate with the IR Operations team and broader Private and Strategic Investments units. You will gather requirements, design solutions, drive UAT, and manage production support, with a stretch goal to extend your impact to Coverage Officers. This role stands out for its blend of hands-on technical work with Salesforce and strategic stakeholder management in a top-tier private investment firm.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own business-as-usual enhancement requests for IR Operations: gather requirements, assess system impact, design solutions with the lead developer, validate, and support post-deployment.
- 2Build strong relationships with IR Operations stakeholders to facilitate application support and drive design and implementation of new features and system improvements.
- 3Identify opportunities for system optimization and technical debt reduction, and drive resolutions with the development team.
- 4Champion self-service enhancement opportunities for stakeholders, such as tools for merging records independently to reduce case volume.
- 5Assist the Apps Support team in triaging and resolving Salesforce production issues using debug logs, query editors, and root cause analysis.
- 6Drive user acceptance testing, training, and documentation to boost adoption and maximize business value from Salesforce solutions.
- 7Own and refine documentation processes to maintain clear, actionable records for technology requests and change management.
- 8Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver reporting and analytics using Salesforce Reports and enterprise reporting tools.
- 9Present solution designs, requirements, and project updates to stakeholders; lead requirements gathering sessions with confidence.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of Salesforce experience with a strong background in development and/or administration.
- 2Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, data structures, workflows, and automation tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Apex.
- 3Ability to design end-to-end solutions in Salesforce and recommend leading practices.
- 4Proficiency in troubleshooting production issues using debug logs, query editors, and root cause analysis.
- 5Experience with product/software development lifecycle practices, including requirements documentation, testing, and release management.
- 6Experience with business process optimization and change management analysis.
- 7SQL experience for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- 8Experience designing and delivering CRM-based reporting and analytics using Salesforce Reports, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- 9Familiarity with iPaaS applications such as Workato, Mulesoft, Zapier, or Boomi, and API-driven solutions with RESTful APIs and Postman.
- 10Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; 5+ years in business systems or software implementation, ideally in financial services.
