What You'll Do12
- 1Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and related schedules
- 2Perform general ledger activities including journal entries accruals and account reconciliations
- 3Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly quarterly and year-end financial statements
- 4Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable alongside payroll accounting and expense recognition
- 5Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and insights for business operations
- 6Maintain compliance with GAAP and support audit readiness throughout the year
- 7Support internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial integrity
- 8Help prepare documentation for external audits tax filings and compliance reviews
- 9Identify and flag financial and operational risks within the accounting function
- 10Support improvements to accounting systems Sage Intacct and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
- 11Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and VP of Finance to evaluate tools that streamline reporting and reconciliation
- 12Develop documentation templates and policies to scale the growing accounting function
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of progressive accounting experience
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 4Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
- 5Proficiency with Sage Intacct Microsoft Excel and AI tools like Claude
- 6Experience with SaaS or tech-enabled companies preferred
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 8Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership of process improvements in a fast-scaling environment
