What You'll Do19
- 1Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- 2Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
- 3Perform monthly quarterly and annual account reconciliations
- 4Assist with month end and year end close processes
- 5Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and variances
- 6Reconcile payroll transactions between ADP payroll system and General Ledger
- 7Review payroll registers for accuracy and completeness
- 8Investigate and resolve payroll related discrepancies
- 9Support payroll audits and compliance reporting
- 10Prepare payroll accruals and related journal entries
- 11Utilize Deltek Costpoint for accounting project setup and financial reporting
- 12Ensure proper project cost allocation and labor charging
- 13Reconcile labor distribution and project accounting data
- 14Support indirect rate calculations and government contract reporting
- 15Maintain accounting system integrity and data accuracy within Costpoint
- 16Audit and compliance support internal and external audits
- 17Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
- 18Ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and federal contracting regulations
- 19Assist with implementation and maintenance of internal controls
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
- 2CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 310+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 4Minimum 3 years of Deltek Costpoint experience
- 5Experience with ADP payroll processing and payroll reconciliations
- 6Government contracting experience strongly preferred
- 7Experience with DCAA compliant accounting systems preferred
- 8Advanced knowledge of Deltek Costpoint
- 9Strong working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or ADP payroll platforms
- 10Excellent understanding of General Ledger accounting
- 11Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables VLOOKUP XLOOKUP and financial reporting
- 12Knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation
