Lead month-end close for Triangle Sign & Service, LLC in Baltimore. Execute close process including journal entries and reconciliations according to US GAAP. Partner with Assistant Controller and Senior Accountant to standardize processes across Persona Signs, LLC. Drive variance analysis and support management reporting.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own month-end close process including journal entries and account reconciliations per US GAAP
- 2Prepare and post recurring journal entries across payroll fixed assets and prepaids
- 3Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
- 4Analyze variances and explain findings to support management reporting
- 5Contribute to monthly financial reporting package for leadership review
- 6Support WIP accrual process through data exports and analysis
- 7Assist with annual audit preparation by gathering documentation and schedules
- 8Partner with Sr. Accountant to standardize close processes across entities
- 9Execute tasks across multiple entities within a multi-entity organization
Requirements5
- 12–4 years accounting experience in multi-entity manufacturing or construction environments
- 2Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3Solid understanding of US GAAP and general ledger accounting
- 4Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or similar ERP systems
- 5Ability to work independently and flag issues proactively
