Security Service Technician Johnson Controls
Overview
Experienced Security Service Technician leading service and repair of card access CCTV burglar alarm systems at customer sites. Provide highest level of service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related items while acting as trusted advisor to customers. Offer solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
What You'll Do11
- 1Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access CCTV burglar alarm systems at customer sites
- 2Provide solutions and outcomes at the time of service
- 3Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures using technical manuals and part manuals
- 4Service troubleshoot and replace defective card access CCTV fire and burglar alarm systems
- 5Read and interpret blueprints diagrams submittals specifications software systems schematics and operational product manuals
- 6Exhibit effective customer service skills by communicating with staff and customers
- 7Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as smartphones and laptops
- 8Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment
- 9Available for on-call emergency service
- 10Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility efficiency including upselling opportunities
- 11Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements12
- 12+ years documented experience with Security Solutions including Card Access Intrusion and CCTV
- 2Knowledge of test equipment multi-meter digital analyzer and commissioning devices
- 3Experience installing inspecting repairing and programming card access and CCTV
- 4Fire alarm experience preferred
- 5Ability to read and interpret blueprints submittals and operational product manuals
- 6Physical labor capability carrying and moving equipment up to 70 lbs
- 7Work in unusual positions climbing ladders scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet
- 8Flexible hours including weekends with possible overnight travel
- 9Valid driver’s license meeting company requirements
- 10Pass background and drug test
- 11Retain required licenses per National State and Local codes
- 12Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards
