Security Officer, Unarmed Part Time Patrol & Customer Service
Overview
Protect and serve in a part time unarmed security role at a financial institution in Chicago. You will deter incidents through visible patrols, monitor access, and deliver high quality customer service to employees and visitors. You will join a collaborative team with flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within Allied Universal. You will work with smart tools and training to support a safe environment and positive experience for clients.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and perform regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity
- 2Monitor access points and visitor activity verify credentials as required and report unusual conditions or suspicious activity
- 3Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional manner following established procedures
- 4Prepare clear incident reports daily activity logs and other documentation according to site procedures
- 5Provide customer service to clients employees visitors and contractors and uphold security procedures and emergency readiness
Requirements7
- 1Possess at least one year of security related experience
- 2Be at least 21 years of age
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- 5Background check and drug screen as required by law
- 6Must meet age requirements for unarmed roles 18+ or armed roles 21+
- 7Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
