What You'll Do5
- 1Build patrol routines across facilities, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual activity
- 2Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials while documenting arrivals and departures
- 3Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and file required reports
- 4Maintain professional presence and report hazards, property damage, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site management
- 5Contribute to a safe environment by following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate

- 1Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws
- 4Drug screen as required by law
- 5Valid driver’s license if driving duties are involved

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 05:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor access points and support the orderly flow of visitors, deliveries, and authorized personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
