Overview
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with DoD Secret Clearance, you own the physical security of a commercial real estate site in Arlington, VA. You monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and provide customer service to tenants and visitors. You join a team of 5+ officers covering a 3-5 building complex. This part-time role offers flexibility through a shift-claim platform and a caring culture that values integrity.
What You'll Do8
- 1Patrol commercial office buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents and report unusual activity.
- 2Respond to alarms, access concerns, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving.
- 3Monitor entry points and enforce visitor and delivery procedures per site requirements.
- 4Document incidents and patrol activities in clear, timely reports for site leadership.
- 5Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff with security procedures and emergency response.
- 6Use Claim a Shift technology to pick up additional shifts for extra pay.
- 7Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed.
- 8Carry out site-specific policies for access control and asset protection.
Requirements8
- 12+ years of security-related experience.
- 2Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- 3CPR certification preferred.
- 4Guard card or license preferred.
- 5Customer service experience preferred.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent.
- 718+ years of age for unarmed roles.
- 8Pass background investigation and drug screen per federal, state, and local laws.
