Overview
You will safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location in Dulles, VA, conducting routine patrols and monitoring assigned areas. This unarmed patrol role requires an active DoD Secret clearance and a valid driver's license. You will report to Allied Universal leadership and collaborate with site personnel to deter incidents. This full-time position offers a steady day shift schedule and a pay rate of $27.05 per hour.
What You'll Do5
- 1Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, access concerns, or facility hazards.
- 2Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- 3Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving actions, communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- 4Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors, executing security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- 5Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs accurately and promptly.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of security-related experience
- 2Active DoD Secret clearance
- 321+ years of age
- 4Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy
- 5High school diploma or equivalent
- 6Access control and badge experience preferred
