Overview
Lead cross functional execution of therapeutic area aligned strategies in partnership with S&E TA Leads and team. Ensure seamless collaboration to achieve business development goals across multiple therapeutic areas. Drive risk management and decision making through structured alignment.
What You'll Do9
- 1Actively supports the Search and Evaluation lead for all active diligences
- 2Serves as a core member of the Search and Evaluation team and coordinates activities and deliverables
- 3Contributes to cross-functional discussions from both a program management and strategic perspective
- 4Leads and coordinates cross-functional diligences with external partners and internal subject matter experts
- 5Proactively identifies communicates and manages risks across the deal portfolio
- 6Drives cross-functional alignment and structures discussions to enable effective decision making
- 7Monitors and assesses team performance shares learnings to drive consistency across the portfolio
- 8Ensures smooth navigation of governance processes and effective use of each forum for deal progression
- 9Works closely with S&E operations on all aspects of external partnering events scheduling
Requirements7
- 1Bachelors or equivalent degree required with minimum 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry drug development business development or related areas
- 2Advanced degree (PhD MBA PharmD) preferred with minimum 6+ years of experience
- 3Strong scientific expertise in one or more AbbVie key therapeutic areas having been a key scientific member on drug development projects
- 4Minimum 8+ years of experience with Bachelors 6+ years with Masters and 4+ years with PhD
- 5Experience managing partnering/diligence processes and governance for deal approvals
- 6Demonstrated strong strategic thinking leadership and communication skills
- 7Knowledge of program management practices in business development and Search and Evaluation
