Swift, the world's leading provider of secure financial messaging, seeks a Jr. Software Development Engineer in Test to own test automation for SwiftNet Services. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks that ensure the reliability of systems moving value across borders. You will collaborate with engineers and architects in a Linux environment, using Python and Shell scripting to build robust solutions. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and develop test automation frameworks for SwiftNet Services components using Python and Shell scripting.
- 2Execute integration, qualification, and regression tests to verify product quality and system reliability.
- 3Translate business and technical requirements into automated test cases and robust test suites.
- 4Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production-like environments.
- 5Collaborate with engineers to identify improvements and implement robust automation solutions.
- 6Maintain technical documentation, test artifacts, and operational procedures for the automation suite.
- 7Drive continuous improvement by expanding automation coverage and increasing test efficiency.
- 8Provide technical guidance and share knowledge within the squad to elevate testing standards.
Requirements7
- 1University degree in computer science or a related field.
- 21-3 years of professional experience in software development or test automation.
- 3Hands-on experience with Linux environments.
- 4Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting.
- 5Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Cloudbees and CDRO.
- 6Strong understanding of SDLC and QA processes.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC.
