Scrum Master, Agile & Azure DevOps
Overview
You will drive Agile operations for up to 3 teams, planning and facilitating Scrum events while coaching on Agile values and removing obstacles. Partner with Product Owners to ensure delivery aligns with business value. This 12-to-15-month onsite role in San Diego offers a chance to impact manufacturing software. You will own the Azure DevOps backlog and sprint cycles from day one.
What You'll Do9
- 1Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives for up to 3 teams.
- 2Coach teams on Agile principles and practices, driving continuous improvement in delivery velocity and quality.
- 3Remove impediments that block team progress, escalating cross-team dependencies when necessary.
- 4Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlog items and ensure clear acceptance criteria, aligning work with business value.
- 5Drive Azure DevOps usage, configuring boards, dashboards, and reports to track sprint health and release readiness.
- 6Manage software change requests and problem resolution, coordinating with engineering teams to minimize downtime.
- 7Facilitate user acceptance testing sessions, designing test scenarios with stakeholders to validate deliverables.
- 8Support release planning and production deployments, ensuring agile artifacts are updated and visible.
- 9Own sprint metrics and reporting, presenting progress and risk to leadership with data-driven insights.
Requirements10
- 14+ years as a Scrum Master in software development with an Agile Certification.
- 22+ years of Azure DevOps experience managing boards, pipelines, or test plans.
- 3High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4Business analysis skills to identify needs and propose value-driven solutions.
- 5Strong decision-making and communication skills, facilitating stakeholder alignment.
- 6Experience with software change request management and problem management.
- 7Experience designing and assessing user acceptance tests.
- 8Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 9Preferred: 4+ years in manufacturing operations software.
- 10Preferred: Knowledge of IIoT manufacturing tech, IoT hardware/software, and agile tools.
