Overview
A part-time School Psychologist will support comprehensive special education services across school settings at LEARN Academy in Surprise, AZ. You will evaluate student needs, develop and monitor IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and service providers. What You'll Do10
- 1Build comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and intervention plans to inform IEPs
- 2Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to implement individualized education plans IEP
- 3Provide counseling and support services to students individually and in groups psychology
- 4Consult with school staff on behavior management and classroom interventions behavior
- 5Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to determine placements and services team
- 6Engage in crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary safety
- 7Conduct program evaluation to improve school-wide practices assessment
- 8Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development training
- 9Provide trainings to instructional and related service staff workshops
- 10Advocate for students’ needs within the educational system advocacy
Requirements5
- 1Master`s degree in school psychology from an accredited program
- 2Maintain state license/certification
- 3Current AZ IVP Fingerprint card
- 4School experience preferred
- 5Eligible to work in the United States
