Overview
You will own the full psychological evaluation cycle for an elementary caseload of 50-60 students in a collaborative Troy, MI district. You will work within a 37.5-hour work week on a school-year contract from August 25, 2026 to June 18, 2027. Your team includes teachers, administrators, and families, all focused on student success. What You'll Do6
- 1Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and reevaluations using standardized assessment tools.
- 2Lead IEP and eligibility meetings to determine service needs and placement.
- 3Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment data and recommend interventions.
- 4Provide consultation to school staff based on student observation and data analysis.
- 5Maintain accurate, timely reports and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- 6Drive the development of behavior intervention plans and academic accommodations within the first 90 days.
Requirements5
- 1Hold Michigan School Psychologist certification.
- 2Bring school-based experience in an elementary setting, preferred.
- 3Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 4Manage a caseload of 50-60 students effectively.
- 5Commit to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week from August 2026 through June 2027.
