What You'll Do7
- 1Provide behavior management support to all staff by working with students on both an individual and group basis as needed
- 2Monitor student behavioral achievement through observation and other quantitative methods
- 3Manage student behavior through level system, S.M.A.R.T. Program and School wide Discipline Plan
- 4Monitor student’s behavior improvement plan or Positive Behavior Support Plan and address goals and objectives
- 5Complete tasks assigned by staff pertaining to school environment behavioral interventions and other operational functions such as discipline consequences peer mediation conflict resolution restitution phone calls to parents functional behavioral assessments discipline referral tabulation
- 6Support daily engagement of students through individualized and evidence based educational therapeutic supports
- 7Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement behavior plans
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s level degree in Education Criminal Justice or related Human Services field preferred
- 2Experience with Special Education preferred
- 3Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioral health challenges within a school setting highly desirable
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 53-5 seasons leading behavior management initiatives
