School-Based BCBA Position San Francisco
Overview
Join Community Autism Services as a School-Based BCBA in San Francisco. This full-time role offers a 35-hour weekly schedule focusing on consultative capacity-building for PreK and Elementary programs. You will partner with educators to strengthen behavioral programming and support families while enjoying flexibility and autonomy.
What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for PreK and Elementary caseloads
- 2Utilize a range of assessments such as VB-MAPP and ABLLS-R to identify strengths and learning needs
- 3Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide decision-making and monitor progress
- 4Ensure fidelity of implementation through ongoing data review and program adjustments
- 5Coach and model evidence-based behavioral strategies for teachers and support staff
- 6Partner with a team of BCBAs to coach and build the capacity of RBTs and behavior technicians
- 7Collaborate with special education teams and families to support generalization and long-term success
- 8Serve as a consultant to IEP teams contributing to student-centered behavioral programming
- 9Deliver professional development sessions and classroom-based trainings
- 10Maintain timely accurate documentation aligned with district and regulatory standards
- 11Provide in-the-moment guidance and debriefing during behavioral escalations
Requirements7
- 1Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology or related field
- 2Current BCBA certification in good standing
- 3Minimum of 2+ years of experience providing ABA services in school-based or educational settings
- 4Experience conducting FBAs writing BIPs and coaching or supporting RBTs in a consultative capacity
- 5Strong collaboration and communication skills with school personnel and families
- 6Commitment to ethical compassionate student-centered care
- 7Experience with data-driven decision making and proficiency with assessment tools
