The Scheduler will serve as the primary point of contact for patients delivering consistent superior customer service experiences. This role involves greeting patients, answering calls, confirming identities, scheduling appointments, and acting as an advocate for participants and families. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to manage front desk operations efficiently.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet patients and answer inquiries while maintaining a professional demeanor
- 2Schedule appointments after verifying patient availability and confirming details
- 3Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers addressing concerns appropriately
- 4Handle telephone communications with clarity and empathy especially during difficult situations
- 5Maintain accurate task lists within the electronic medical record system
- 6Provide benefit plan information to participants providers and stakeholders
- 7Adhere to Culinary Health Center and Jayakumar NV PC policies
- 8Perform care coordination tasks when assigned
- 9Escalate calls using sound judgment based on context and urgency
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Understanding of medical terminology
- 3Ability to interview patients and communicate effectively with clinical staff
- 4Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- 5One year of relevant customer service experience preferred
