SAP Security GRC Consultant, Production Support
Overview
You will own identity and access governance for a global SAP landscape, serving as the key liaison between client, BOBM, and SAP teams. You will provide frontline production support across integrated business applications, resolving access issues and driving compliance. This hands-on, collaborative role demands 5+ years of SAP security expertise and a deep understanding of GRC controls. You will implement and manage user roles, oversee emergency access, and ensure audit readiness in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement SAP role-based access controls using SAP GRC, managing user provisioning and de-provisioning across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP BW.
- 2Lead the resolution of production support tickets related to security, user management, and authorization failures within a 2-hour SLA.
- 3Drive monthly SOD conflict analysis in SAP GRC and mitigate risk with business stakeholders.
- 4Own the emergency access process, monitoring firefighter IDs and reviewing logs for compliance.
- 5Collaborate with auditors to provide evidence and ensure SOX and SAP security controls are met.
- 6Onboard and offboard users across multiple SAP systems, ensuring timely and accurate access.
- 7Develop and maintain role design documentation, including role matrices and security policies.
- 8Automate user administration tasks with SAP Scripting, reducing manual effort by 20%.
Requirements8
- 15+ years experience in SAP security, user administration, and GRC in a production support environment.
- 23+ years hands-on with SAP GRC Access Control suite, including Emergency Access and SOD analysis.
- 3Deep knowledge of SAP roles, profiles, authorization objects, and user provisioning tools.
- 4Experience with SAP S/4HANA security and Fiori role design is highly preferred.
- 5Strong understanding of SOX compliance and audit requirements.
- 6SAP Certified in Security or GRC is a plus.
- 7Ability to translate business requirements into role designs and functional specs.
- 8Proven troubleshooting skills in complex, multi-system SAP landscapes.
