- 1Interview and hire stylists and support staff to build a high-performing team.
- 2Evaluate employee performance through regular 1:1 meetings and set individual and salon goals.
- 3Document important conversations, incidents, and goal progress to track team development.
- 4Approve time-off requests and coordinate scheduling with your Area Manager when short-staffed.
- 5Lead monthly salon meetings to communicate updates and foster team alignment.
- 6Collaborate with the Technical Trainer to address salon-specific skill gaps and training needs.
- 7Manage inventory and place supply orders to maintain stock levels.
- 8Create a talent bench by mentoring and developing staff for career advancement.
Requirements7
- 1Current Cosmetology license or Barber's license and manager's license if applicable per state laws.
- 23+ years of salon management experience with strong 360 Service Experience and technical skills.
- 3Proven ability to coach, lead, and inspire a team to achieve performance goals.
- 4Strong business management skills including goal setting, scheduling, cash handling, and reporting.
- 5Excellent communication and email etiquette with professional presence.
- 6Effective time management and organizational skills.
- 7Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
