Salesforce Platform Developer, Food & Beverage
Overview
You will own the technical roadmap for the planning, forecasting, and budgeting application and the Salesforce platform at a high-growth children's beverage company. You'll become the primary technical expert on the PHP codebase and serve as the internal Salesforce administrator, developing custom solutions with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Working within a small IT team, you'll partner with business leads across finance, sales, and marketing to translate needs into system improvements. This hybrid role in Atlanta offers a chance to own both legacy and modern platforms in a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the planning application's PHP codebase, delivering enhancements and new features in the first 90 days
- 2Integrate the planning tool with Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware
- 3Debug and resolve technical issues in both the planning application and Salesforce to maintain uptime
- 4Design and build custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
- 5Serve as the Salesforce administrator: manage user setup, permissions, and routine platform maintenance
- 6Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into practical, scalable system changes
- 7Monitor platform health and proactively identify improvements to simplify workflows
- 8Document technical solutions and maintain a pipeline of prioritized enhancements
Requirements9
- 15+ years as a software programmer, application developer, or web engineer
- 23+ years of Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components
- 3Hands-on experience with Apex and Visualforce
- 4Working knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, and CSS
- 5Ability to maintain and enhance an existing PHP codebase
- 6Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a track record of root-cause resolution
- 7Clear written and verbal communication with technical and nontechnical audiences
- 8Experience balancing multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven setting
- 9Residence in the Atlanta area and ability to work hybrid 2-3 days per week
