Route Driver, Micromarket & Local Deliveries
Overview
The Route Driver will service micromarkets along an established Kansas City area route, delivering products and maintaining equipment for a high-touch client experience. You will represent the Canteen brand on every interaction and support inventory, promotions, and merchandising at customer sites. The role offers growth opportunities into entry level management within a fast paced, service oriented environment. This position operates on a daytime, Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekends and holidays.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets
- 2Provide consistent client and customer satisfaction through all service interactions
- 3Show adherence to company policies and perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment
- 4Perform minor service and adjustments on micro markets and related equipment
- 5Report equipment issues to maintenance or technicians as needed
- 6Prepare trucks with products before daily routes and service scheduled markets
- 7Inform clients of new products or services and resolve complaints
- 8Set up promotions and merchandising displays and distribute promotional materials
- 9Ensure accurate receipt of goods, invoices, and cash handling; conduct inventory reconciliation
- 10Keep vehicles clean, organized, and perform pre and post trip inspections
Requirements5
- 13 years driving experience required
- 2Valid Non CDL Class C driver license or state designation
- 3Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
- 4Willingness to operate or learn material handling equipment such as box trucks and handcarts
- 5Ability to work independently and manage route without supervision for most of the day

$42 - $62k per year
