Route Driver, Canteen SmartService & Onsite Logistics
Overview
Own a route driving role at scale within our on site program. Deliver products, manage inventory, and provide exceptional client service across assigned vending and food service machines. Work with a small team and field operations to keep routes running smoothly and reliably. This role stands out for hands on machine maintenance, inventory control, and direct customer interaction.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build the daily route plan and ensure proper loading of products to service all machines
- 2Maintain inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines on the route
- 3Load and unload products using hand carts, perform rotation to ensure freshness, and service machines
- 4Record accurate product and inventory data via handheld devices and update client records
- 5Address and resolve service issues or complaints promptly with supervisors and customers
- 6Set up displays and materials for promotions and communicate new products to clients
- 7Keep the vehicle clean, perform pre and post trip inspections, and ensure compliance with safety rules
- 8Coordinate with maintenance for any defective equipment and follow up on repairs
- 9Assist with inventory reconciliation and receipt of goods including deliveries and invoices
- 10Perform additional duties as needed to meet client service levels and route efficiency
Requirements5
- 13 years driving experience required
- 2Valid driver's license
- 3Preferred 1-2 years customer service experience or 1 year related experience
- 4Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- 5Associates or higher may be offered benefits and time off in line with company policy
