What You'll Do6
- 1Safely operate rollback tow trucks to recover and transport cars, trucks, and heavy-duty equipment.
- 2Secure vehicles onto flatbeds using proper cargo securement protocols, ensuring load stability and safety.
- 3Inspect vehicles before loading and after unloading to identify mechanical issues or damages.
- 4Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to keep tow trucks ready for dispatch.
- 5Follow all safety procedures for vehicle loading, unloading, and road operation to prevent accidents.
- 6Log towing activities with load and unload details, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Requirements7
- 12+ years operating rollback tow trucks or in vehicle recovery and towing.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
- 3Hands-on mechanic experience or background in automotive repair.
- 4Knowledge of flatbed tow trucks, vehicle recovery techniques, and safe loading practices.
- 5Familiarity with manual transmissions and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
- 6Strong mechanical knowledge related to car towing and minor vehicle repairs.
- 7Excellent customer service and conflict management skills for client interactions.
