Robotic and Manual Welding Technician, MIG/TIG & Fabrication
Overview
You will own weld quality and production across manual and robotic cells at a Nashville fabrication shop. You will decode blueprints, run MIG and TIG, and operate robotic welding equipment for steel, stainless, and aluminum parts. What You'll Do7
- 1Decode blueprints and weld symbols to produce accurate, high-quality parts in the first 30 days.
- 2Run MIG and TIG processes across steel, stainless, and aluminum.
- 3Operate robotic welding equipment, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting.
- 4Freehand-weld aluminum components with precision.
- 5Finish components using a large belt sander to meet specifications.
- 6Keep your area orderly and safe, following proper PPE and procedures.
- 7Work 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with overtime as needed.
Requirements7
- 11+ years of welding experience, with proficiency in MIG and TIG.
- 2Proven punctuality and dependability.
- 3Industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
- 4Ability to lift 50 lbs and position weld apparatus in any orientation.
- 5Ability to stand for extended periods; bend, kneel, and stoop as needed.
- 6Comfort working around shop elements: noise, dust, odors, chemicals.
- 7Pass an on-site physical weld test.
