What You'll Do8
- 1Supervise all nursing personnel and nursing related functions on a specific shift
- 2Assess staffing and resident needs and direct care
- 3Work predominantly with an adult geriatric population
- 4Serve as role model for staff through safe effective and efficient nursing care
- 5Supervise clinical aspects of nursing
- 6Manage day to day operations of Nursing Department
- 7Interfaces with others to ensure efficient unit operations
- 8Seeks opportunities for own growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain clinical competency
Requirements5
- 1Active Registered Nurse license issued in Maryland
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- 31-3 years of managerial experience and proven leadership skills
- 4Previous experience caring for residents in an acute or skilled nursing facility
- 5Current CPR license
