RF Microwave Interconnect Solutions Engineer
Overview
Build high-performance RF Microwave interconnect solutions at Teledyne Storm Microwave. This is a skilled role where you will own precision engineering tasks. The position differs by focusing on advanced cable assemblies for defense and telecom markets.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations under close supervision
- 2Assemble units such as power supplies modules chassis drawers cable harnesses PC boards
- 3Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components using soldering iron and hot air techniques
- 4Install and remove discrete components transformers resistors capacitors on printed circuit assemblies
- 5Assemble connectors perform interface gage measurements shrink marker sleeves and strain reliefs
- 6Check mechanical length of cables ensure compliance with specifications
- 7Read and interpret documents and drawings accurately
- 8Lift and move parts bins and boxes as needed
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2Soldering experience or MIL Standard Soldering Certification preferred
- 3Basic math skills and 1–2 years of related experience preferred
- 4Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- 5Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 7Must be a U.S. person includes U.S. citizens lawful permanent residents refugees and asylees
