Retail Sales Associate - Golf Clubs
Overview
You will own the hard goods sales floor at a PGA TOUR Superstore, engaging every customer who enters the simulator, putting green, and club repair zones. Working alongside the Sales and Service Manager, you will drive sales through club fitting expertise and product knowledge. This contract role in Minneapolis offers hands-on experience with premium golf technology and direct customer interaction. What You'll Do7
- 1Engage every customer in the hard goods areas with PGATSS service behaviors, building lasting relationships that drive repeat visits.
- 2Own the simulator, putting green, and accessory zones, maintaining premiere stock and visual presentation to maximize sales.
- 3Master all front-end operations including returns, exchanges, gift cards, and loyalty program redemption, assisting when lines build.
- 4Execute club fitting sessions using PGATSS techniques, selecting shaft, grip, and specifications for optimal performance.
- 5Maintain clean, operational hard goods areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for customer use.
- 6Stay current on merchandising promotions via The Links bulletins, championing product and service offerings to every customer.
- 7Provide consistent feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities for improvement.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 21+ year retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
- 3Strong listening and interpersonal skills, with clear verbal and written communication.
- 4Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5Ability to organize multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- 6Must stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift 30 lb boxes overhead.
- 7Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 8Self-accountability with proactive drive for results.
