Overview
Own in-store customer service and cash operations across a high-traffic convenience store. You will greet customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain clean, safe facilities at Salt Lake City area locations. What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers and assist with purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience
- 2Accurately process transactions using the cash register and manage payments
- 3Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise to maintain product availability
- 4Maintain cleanliness of the store including the sales floor, restrooms, and fuel pumps
- 5Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
- 6Follow safety and security procedures including age verification for restricted products
- 7Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
- 8Collaborate with team to manage workload and pace
- 9Remain compliant with store processes and procedures during high volume periods
- 10Open and close the store as needed
Requirements10
- 1Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2Familiarity with electronic equipment including cash registers and POS systems
- 3Basic math skills and proficiency in using computers
- 4Effective communication skills and a strong customer focus
- 5Ability to collaborate with the team to manage workload and pace
- 6Willingness to learn about store processes, products, and services
- 7Ability to remain composed in confrontational situations
- 8Capable of working in high-volume, high-pressure environments
- 9Flexibility to work a schedule including Sunday through Saturday
- 10Availability to open and close the store as needed
