What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and train associates in product knowledge, presentation standards, and daily task completion
- 2Own inventory management with regular audits, stock replenishment decisions, and markdown strategies
- 3Operate POS systems and ensure accurate cash handling in accordance with policies
- 4Execute merchandising strategies including product receiving, placement, seasonal displays, and promotional setups
- 5Support and supervise store opening and closing procedures and act as leader on duty when needed
- 6Maintain clean, safe, and organized store environment and ensure compliance with policies and code of ethics
- 7Foster a positive associate experience through feedback, mentorship, and performance support
- 8Ensure pets in care are healthy and safe, including handling of new arrivals and sick pets
- 9Enhance the pet parent experience with online order pickups and ship from store capabilities
- 10Engage in live cycle counts and address discrepancies to protect inventory integrity
Requirements5
- 12+ years of retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment
- 2Proficiency in computer applications
- 3Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 4Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5Ability to stand, walk, climb a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
