Retail Merchandiser Market Lead WM, Altman Plants
Overview
Own on-site plant merchandising across assigned garden centers with the goal of keeping displays vibrant and inventory aligned with sales goals. You will work outdoors in varied seasonal conditions, stocking live plants, rotating product, and supporting resets and events. You will collaborate with merchandisers, supervisors, vendors, and retail staff to ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain a sales-ready plant display that meets seasonal goals
- 2Rotate, merchandise, and price plants ensuring accurate signage and stock levels
- 3Assist with store resets, special events, and displays
- 4Communicate product needs and inventory updates to internal teams and store personnel
- 5Complete inventory cycle counts and review sales reports to optimize product flow
- 6Adhere to safety guidelines and operate tools like pallet jacks and ladders
- 7Support training of new team members at assigned location
- 8Use mobile apps for clocking in/out, photos, and task tracking
- 9Provide responsive customer service and feedback to improve store performance
- 10Ensure clean, safe work areas and timely communication during shifts
Requirements6
- 1Proven ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
- 2Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- 3Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with reliable transportation
- 4Proficiency with mobile apps for clocking in/out and task completion
- 5Strong teamwork and customer service skills
- 6Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
