Retail Associate/Cashier, Adult Boutique
Overview
You will own the customer experience at Playtime Boutique, a high-traffic adult retail store in New York. You'll greet every guest, operate the POS system for cash and card sales, and keep the store stocked and spotless. Working alongside a small team, you'll build product knowledge to guide customers on intimate items. This role demands a professional, self-motivated approach and your own vehicle for parking on-site.
What You'll Do7
- 1Greet and engage customers with a warm, professional demeanor, offering help locating items.
- 2Operate the POS system for cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- 3Maintain deep knowledge of all products, including intimate items, to assist customers.
- 4Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and storefront clean inside and out.
- 5Support pricing and re-stocking after deliveries arrive.
- 6Follow all company procedures and policies, including dress code.
- 7Complete additional administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Requirements12
- 12+ years retail sales and customer service experience preferred.
- 2High school diploma or GED required.
- 3Must be 21+ years old.
- 4Valid Driver's License and own vehicle required for on-site parking.
- 5Available for retail hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- 6Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- 7Basic math skills for cash handling.
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 9Detail-oriented, organized, and self-managed.
- 10Computer literate and able to multi-task.
- 11Knowledge of adult products preferred.
- 12Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable with time management.
