Overview
Own the dining room pulse at Waterbar, a high-volume seafood restaurant on San Francisco's Embarcadero. You'll deliver elegant service to guests in our spectacular dining room and manage the energy of a lively patio. Part of a driven service team, you'll partner with kitchen and bar staff to create memorable experiences. This part-time role demands 5+ years of fine dining expertise and a passion for hospitality.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver warm, professional, and knowledgeable service to guests in the dining room and patio.
- 2Make informed recommendations on food, wine, and beer to elevate the guest experience.
- 3Answer questions about our menu, beverages, and restaurant functions with confidence.
- 4Manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously during lunch and weekend brunch rushes.
- 5Maintain composure and efficiency under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- 6Collaborate with the service team to ensure a seamless and memorable guest journey.
- 7Process orders accurately using point of sale systems.
- 8Adhere to food safety standards and obtain a food handler card within the first 30 days.
Requirements9
- 15+ years of experience in a fine dining establishment.
- 2Warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service.
- 3Commitment to delivering a unique and memorable guest experience.
- 4Punctual, patient, and mindful in all interactions.
- 5Solid knowledge of wine and beer.
- 6Working knowledge of point of sale systems.
- 7Excellent people skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- 8Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- 9Valid or able to obtain a food handler card within the first 30 days.
