Overview
We seek a skilled Respiratory Therapist to lead simple spirometry testing at primary care clinics in Eastern Tampa. This contract role offers up to $1,200-$1,500 weekly plus supplemental pay based on experience and tenure. The position provides flexible daytime scheduling without holidays and includes benefits such as career advancement opportunities.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and maintain respiratory therapy programs using handheld devices
- 2Design and deliver pre/post albuterol spirometry tests to patients
- 3Coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy
- 4Grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review
- 5Monitor patient safety during all procedures
- 6Maintain testing equipment and adhere to quality protocols
- 7Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at clinic sites
Requirements5
- 15+ years performing bedside or complete PFTs
- 2Understanding of albuterol administration side effects
- 3Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices and terminology
- 4Ability to work independently within a 45 minute travel radius
- 5Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
