You will own residential service calls for Mr. Electric of Chapel Hill and Cary, handling 2-3 daily visits for troubleshooting, panel upgrades, and rewiring. Our team runs on Journeyman license holders with 3+ years of field experience, backed by provided trucks, iPad, and modern tools. You'll drive real earnings with uncapped incentives and a $3,000 hiring bonus, while advancing to Team Lead roles within months. What You'll Do6
- 1Diagnose and repair residential electrical faults on day one, including panel replacements and fixture installs.
- 2Present transparent pricing options and close jobs using tablet technology for customer education and sales.
- 3Run 2-3 service calls daily with focus on safety, quality, and cleanliness.
- 4Keep your company truck clean and stocked with tools and inventory for immediate readiness.
- 5Check in with office 1-3 times weekly for restocks, training, and team alignment.
- 6Mentor newer electricians as a paid Team Lead once you prove high performance.
Requirements8
- 1Hold a residential Journeyman's License and have 3+ years of dedicated service and troubleshooting experience.
- 2Perform residential troubleshooting and repairs independently from day one.
- 3Operate iPad, digital dispatch software, and modern diagnostic tools with comfort.
- 4Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- 5Pass background check and drug screening.
- 6Show motivation, team spirit, and ability to educate customers.
