Resident Assistant, Amira Choice Bloomington & On-Call Care Services
Overview
Resident Assistant role at Amira Choice Bloomington, supporting residents with daily living activities and emotional support at a community level. What You'll Do6
- 1Build compassionate, hands on support for residents with ADLs and daily needs per service plans
- 2Provide physical and emotional support to residents to maintain independence and dignity
- 3Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse
- 4Observe residents and report changes in condition to the case manager
- 5Engage residents through activities, interaction, and redirection to promote well being
- 6Complete required documentation daily including service schedules, flow sheets, and communication book
Requirements5
- 1Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence preferred
- 2Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
- 3Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests
- 4Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- 5Wamiliarity with documentation and scheduling processes in a care setting
