Overview
Design and execute in vivo pharmacology studies to develop next-generation cell therapies. Lead experiments across multiple laboratory sites to advance precision genome engineering for cancer immunotherapy. Contribute to robust animal model development and therapeutic testing.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform and support in vivo pharmacology studies in rodent models including dosing and tissue collection
- 2Collect and process biological samples for downstream analysis
- 3Assist in development and optimization of in vivo disease models
- 4Maintain and propagate ex vivo cell lines for in vivo studies
- 5Manage inventory of in vivo supplies across laboratories
- 6Analyze data and communicate results within a team setting
- 7Schedule and prioritize workload with supervisor assistance
- 8Ensure compliance with IACUC protocols and animal welfare standards
- 9Maintain detailed electronic notebooks with accurate experimental records
- 10Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve research objectives
- 11Develop proficiency with animal handling and dosing techniques
Requirements11
- 1BS/BA in Molecular or Cell Biology or related life sciences discipline
- 21+ years of hands-on laboratory research experience in academia or industry
- 3Experience supporting in vivo pharmacology studies
- 4Familiarity with aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture practices
- 5Strong organization skills with electronic notebook proficiency
- 6Ability to rapidly learn new technical skills and teach others
- 7Excellent communication and attention to detail
- 8Preferred: 1-3 years of laboratory research experience supporting immunology or oncology programs
- 9Hands-on experience with rodent handling and dosing routes
- 10Experience collecting and processing blood and tissue samples
- 11Proficiency in maintaining mammalian cell cultures for in vivo studies
Salary Insight
$70 - $90k per year
