Repair Technician, Electronics & PCB Repair
Overview
The Repair Technician will troubleshoot and repair multi-layer PC boards used in electronic pump regulators at a Dallas site. You will work with a range of test equipment and perform component-level analysis to root cause and prevent issues. You will collaborate with a small team in a climate-controlled environment and interact with customers as needed. This role offers hands-on electronics repair, growth in metrology operations, and stable onsite employment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and troubleshoot electronic equipment to the component level using DVMs, Oscilloscopes, and Power Supplies to restore function within 90 days
- 2Read and interpret electronic schematics and procedures to guide repair work and testing
- 3Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative actions to reduce recurring failures
- 4Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication with stakeholders
- 5Collaborate with a team of 6 technicians and a lead in a climate-controlled environment
- 6Document repair findings and test results for traceability and quality
- 7Follow ESD protocols and maintain a clean, safe work area
- 8Diagnose failures in digital and analog circuitry and apply corrective fixes
- 9Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- 10Meet productivity targets while delivering high-quality repairs
Requirements5
- 1Minimum of 5+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment to the component level
- 2AAS degree or equivalent in electronics technology
- 3Proficiency in both digital and analog circuitry
- 4Fluent in English with strong customer service skills
- 5Knowledge of metrology operations
